The City of Birmingham Mayor’s Office Division of Youth Services will launch its 2012 Youth First Breakfast Club (YFBC) on February 13, 2012. YFBC is a mentoring program for 6th and 7th grade students in Birmingham City Schools. This is a great opportunity for students to participate in a program that focuses on developing adolescents socially and emotionally.
YFBC serves as a preparation channel to aide youth with life planning skills. Weekly sessions include topics such as Career Planning, Healthy Living, and Decision Making.
Youth First Breakfast Club is a FREE program provided for Birmingham City Middle Schools. Sessions meet once a week from 7:00 AM – 7:50 AM.
