DYS Challenges Youth to BRIDGE THE GAP

In This Section

bdg_generalThe City of Birmingham Mayor’s Office Division of Youth Services (DYS) launches BRIDGING THE GAP in observance of Black History Month.

All month long, Birmingham youth and their families are invited to participate in weekly activities aimed at “bridging the gap” between older and younger generations. BRIDGING THE GAP will empower and educate by creating opportunities for youth to learn about Birmingham’s African-American figures that have contributed to the development of all; many of whom are right in their families. There is something for everyone.  Join DYS as we BRIDGE THE GAP this February.
