Welcome to the Page Pals volunteer opportunities page! Join our team of dedicated volunteers and make a lasting impact in 3rd-grade classrooms. By spending just 30 minutes a session at the time and school of your choosing, , you can ignite their love for learning and open up new worlds of imagination.
Your presence and engagement will not only improve their reading skills but also boost their confidence and enthusiasm for books. We encourage you to build a reading relationship with a single school, to create accountability with your Page Pals scholars.

Below you can choose from the following volunteer opportunities.
- Community Reader: As a community reader, your volunteer commitment will be a 30 minute session at the time and school of your choosing through our Sign-Up Genius portal. (No training required. See orientation video below for more information).
- Volunteer Tutor: As a volunteer tutor, your volunteer commitment will be at least one (1) hour week assisting 3rd grade teachers in building critical background knowledge for students in social studies and science at the school of your choosing. (Mandatory training is required. Information on training will be sent once application and background check is complete).
